Services provided for families in Belknap County, New Hampshire
Transitional Supportive Services Program: This is a two year program through which homeless single-parent families set long and short term goals in housing, job training, education, budgeting and parenting with the assistance of their case manager. Families are required to meet with their case manager once a week – either a home visit or office visit.
Peer Support Program: Families receive supportive services through our Peer Support Center. This program
provides homeless parents and children waiting for an opening in the Transitional Supportive Services Program with a connection to the community and supportive services until further assistance is available. Through on-going support from our case managers, workshops and support groups, families in-need will be empowered and learn to advocate for themselves when looking for housing, employment, child-care, healthcare, and transportation.
After-Care Program: This program is a five-year program offered to Ozanam Place’s families that have completed the Transitional Supportive Services Program. The idea of After-Care is to provide families with on-going support, resources, referrals and advocacy on an as needed basis.
